At a loss for Words

Yup, that is what I am at right now. Typically when I am like this, I don’t write anything. I figure if I don’t have anything to say then why waste your time in reading it. Therefore, I am going to give updates on what has been going in Beamerland.
For starters, Another World is Possible is over for another year (see the post below). This year I actually went to all of the events and was the weirdo taking pictures. The pictures were used as the background to a video that aired last night at the conclusion of the series called oneNIGHT. oneNIGHT is where all the Christian campus organizations, particularly the ones that helped coordinate Another World is Possible, come together to worship and pray about the issues that were raised during the events of the week. So that was last night.
Yesterday also marked the event where my sister stepped into the same level of geezerhood as myself. We got to talk for a while and catch up on all the happenings of each others lives. Talking with her is always a joy
Right now we are in the middle of a series called Prison Break at church. It is a walk through the book of Galatians. That is what the picture below is about, how sometimes we feel like we are prisoners within our faith when there is actually no reason for it. Jesus has set us free.
School is going well so far. Not a whole lot to say about it. A friend of mine has told me a few times that what he’s heard about graduate school is that eventually everything comes back to one equation – that from this equation all other equations are created. In my convective heat transfer class I am beginning to see the truth in this statement.
I hope that this one hasn’t been too painful to read. Maybe next time I’ll have something meaningful and insightful. Until then, Ciao Ciao!
